Janis Austin has been a dedicated member of The Never Alone Clubhouse family for more than five years, faithfully serving as Secretary of the Board of Directors before transitioning into her current roles as a Board Member at Large and staff member.

Following an accomplished 18-year career with Robert Bosch Incorporated, where she served as Secretary to the Manager and Payroll Assistant, Janis brought her extensive administrative experience, organizational skills, and heart for service to The Never Alone Clubhouse.

As the mother of a daughter who experienced a 25-year journey through addiction, Janis understands firsthand the challenges, heartbreak, and hope that families experience when a loved one struggles with substance use disorder. Her personal journey inspired her to turn those experiences into a passion for helping other parents and families find support, encouragement, and healing.

In 2022, Janis earned her Certified Peer Specialist–Parent (CPS-P) certification. Today, she serves as a Parent Peer Support Specialist within our Juvenile Programs, walking alongside parents and caregivers as they navigate difficult circumstances, strengthen family connections, and discover pathways toward restoration and recovery.

For Janis, serving at The Never Alone Clubhouse is more than a position—it is a calling rooted in compassion, lived experience, and the belief that no family should face addiction alone.

Her unwavering dedication, professionalism, and servant's heart continue to make her an invaluable part of our organization and a source of hope for the families we serve.
