About Heather

Heather Pate is a woman in long term recovery, celebrating her recovery date of December 23, 2023. After many years of substance use disorder, Heather found true freedom in recovery, even while incarcerated. What once felt like loss became the beginning of restoration, purpose, and hope.

Heather is the proud mother of three children. Her journey through incarceration and separation from her children has shaped her heart for other mothers walking similar paths. She is passionate about helping launch The Never Alone Clubhouse’s Reentry Program, creating a safe and supportive space for mothers who have experienced incarceration and the pain of losing custody. Heather believes deeply that recovery makes restoration possible and that no mother’s story is beyond redemption.

Rooted in her faith, Heather lives with gratitude and intention. She prioritizes self-care, enjoys working out at the gym, and treasures time spent with family and friends. Giving back to her community has given her a renewed sense of purpose, and she is committed to walking alongside others as they rediscover their worth, rebuild their lives, and reconnect with their children.

Heather’s life is a testament to resilience, faith, and the power of recovery.
