James Austin serves as an At-Large Board Member for The Never Alone Clubhouse. He brings over thirty years of leadership experience in management and operations within a major transportation company, where he specialized in building teams and fostering strong employee relations. James’ passion for recovery work is deeply personal. He and his wife walked alongside their daughter through a 27-year journey with substance use disorder, and by God’s grace, witnessed her powerful transformation into sustained sobriety. That experience ignited a calling in James to give back  not just as a supporter, but as a servant leader in the recovery community. After earning his Certified Peer Specialist–Parent (CPS-P) credential, James committed himself to sharing hope, encouragement, and compassion with others walking similar paths. Today, he continues to dedicate his time, resources, wisdom, and love to the mission of The Never Alone Clubhouse ensuring that no one has to walk the road to recovery alone.
