Billie Jo “BJ” Rollins has devoted much of her professional life to serving others, building
meaningful relationships, and making a difference in the lives of individuals and families
throughout Georgia.
BJ enjoyed a distinguished career with the Georgia Department of Corrections, serving in several
key positions, including Senior Public Relations and Information Specialist, Legislative Liaison,
and Manager of Offender Reentry. Her work involved close collaboration with state legislators,
government leaders, community organizations, and faith-based groups. She was especially
passionate about developing programs that offered individuals the opportunity for a successful
transition back into their families and communities.
Following her career in state government, BJ found a new and deeply meaningful calling in
funeral service. For more than 12 years, she dedicated herself to assisting families with funeral
arrangements, coordinating services, and offering comfort and guidance during some of life's
most difficult moments.
Throughout her career, BJ has valued the importance of treating others with dignity, kindness,
and compassion. Whether serving the citizens of Georgia or comforting families during times of
loss, her greatest satisfaction has always come from helping others and making a positive
difference in their lives.
