
About Christy
Christy Draper grew up in Douglas County and has devoted more than 29 years to serving her community as a practicing attorney. With a focus on criminal defense and family law, she brings deep courtroom experience, detailed preparation, and a steadfast commitment to client-centered advocacy.

She is an active member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the National College for DUI Defense. Christy also remains engaged in the Douglas County Bar Association and the Cobb County Bar Association within both the Criminal Law and Family Law sections. She has completed specialized training through the National Association of Drug Court Professionals, reflecting her dedication to supporting individuals navigating substance use and recovery.

Christy serves on the Board of Directors for The Never Alone Clubhouse as an at-large member. Her work places her in direct contact with individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder, giving her a clear view of both the challenges and the hope that exists within the recovery journey. She has seen the impact of substance use disorder professionally and personally, and this perspective strengthens her desire to help create meaningful change.
